POSITION : SOFTWARE DEVELOPER (MAGENTO)

We’re seeking a talented developer to join our core team as we expand into next year. Although most development is LAMP stack related, we also work with numerous *nix tools and scripting languages – so we approve of broad skill sets. If you’ve got great PHP, JavaScript and MySQL skills, and a sharp agile approach, we would love to hear from you.

You must have real experience with Magento (preferably with a module or two to show for yourself), or if not a strong alternative background in other MVC frameworks (preferably Django), and demonstrable OOP with PHP skills. Zend experience is a bonus.

As a member of our team you will assist with:

  • producing new Magento sites
  • developing Magento modules
  • integrating with 3rd party API’s
  • managing installations
  • developing testing infrastructure
  • improving our automated management infrastructure

You’ll need to be proactive and self-motivated, and show that you’re comfortable working to deadlines. And you’ll need to have excellent organisational and communication skills.
