We engaged a partner firm to undertake a full usability survey and produce a full design brief, which was then implemented by our design team.
We worked with MyTights to revolutionise their product data to deliver an intuitive and dynamically driven search and navigation experience supported by editorial content, strong product presentation and calls to action. Using the Magento eCommerce platform as the core of the infrastructure upgrade, we delivered a seamless user experience of content, catalogue, checkout and fulfilment across four online stores and integrated these tightly with the order management system, MNP’s Order Active. We also migrated over 200,000 customers across to the new platform.
A core part of the MyTights experience is the use of swatches, and Flint developed an innovative swatch management application that is currently handling over 1200 different swatches across 30 brands.
We implemented price lists in three separate currencies and custom functionality to cover colour swatches, affiliate management/promotions and a bespoke payment gateway integration. In addition we developed their community presence by implementing a blog facility alongside the site.
MyTights’ new infrastructure has vastly increased their control over their content and brand, their stock efficiency and their promotional and merchandising facilities. They have been able to increase their onsite usability metrics, cut internal costs by over 25% and have increased their search engine visibility by over 15%. Their conversion rate has increased by over 70%.
